Baan Amandhara is located on Phuket's famous Cape Panwa peninsular, which is surrounded by beautiful islands and is the gateway to the islands of southern Phuket such as Phi Phi Island and Koh Racha. Cape Panwa, on Phuket's southern coast is where you'll find the luxury end of tourism and away from Phuket's lower-end mass-tourist offerings found on the west coast, making it perfect for both families and those seeking an exclusive, luxurious and relaxing beach holiday.

It is a brand new private luxury beach villa, located in the centre of Ao Yon Bay, Phuket's most beautiful white sand beach. Ao Yon beach is picturesque and sheltered, and is therefore one of the select few beaches on Phuket that offer you 365 days a year swimming. Phuket's west coast beaches are all closed for most of the period from May thru Nov, plus closed on any days with strong tides. This is especially important for families with children.

You could decide not to leave Ao Yon Beach as there are wonderful restaurants and bars on your doorstep, including The Brasserie on The Beach, the beach restaurant and beach club of Phuket's best restaurant and ‘institution', The Brasserie in Phuket Town, which is only a 30 second walk along the beach from the villa. They'll prepare champagne and oysters, a ‘just-caught' barbequed fish, or the island's best fillet steak tenderloin! The villa has been designed by one of Thailand’s finest architects, Khun Navachon Suksawat. The brief we gave her was to create a luxury villa that is contemporary, spacious and light. It had to be visually stunning, but most importantly make the occupants feel special. She created a villa that gives all occupants the maximum light and space. In fact 5 of the 6 bedrooms enjoy sea views, whilst one has a lovely private terrace. The 5 sea-view rooms all have either a private balcony also, and all bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities. She also designed our two sister properties - Baan Amandeha and The Beach House at Ao Yon Bay with the same inspiration, which are located on either side of Baan Amandhara and can be used when more space is required for larger groups.

To give the villa a spacious feel and to ensure it is bright, she used huge floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors in all bedrooms and living areas to enable the beautiful views of the beach, sea and islands to flood into every area of the villa. In fact of over 50% of the villas exterior is glass to give you a feeling of being part of the wonderful surroundings.

Continuing the theme she has used high ceilings in all areas. The main living area is over 100 sqm and features a huge open-plan living, dining and kitchen with seated bar. This is our second booking with Ultimate Luxury Villa Rentals / Luxury Villa Escapes Our first stay was for two weeks at their neighbouring property Villa Baan Amandhara but due to COVID 19 we were unable to leave Phuket to return home until the airport opened for our repatriation flight to the UK. Our family and friends absolutely loved the extended stay, especially as Phuket was Corona free so we all felt safe as the rest of the world was in turmoil. I have to say well done to Thailand for managing the situation so well. We plan to come back this winter to enjoy another Covid-free holiday in luxury. Importantly the internet worked fast and was perfect for the kids doing online schooling, movie streaming, and we could all easily work from ‘home’ in Thailand. Like the previous home the images and description were just as described on the Airbnb website, a clean modern 5 star villa. The property has direct beach access a few steps from the house and the pool was amazing with its sunken lounge area, day beds for sun-bathing and outdoor BBQ area. The lounge room was spacious as well as the bedrooms. The bed was super comfortable and the freestanding bath in the bedroom with ocean views was spectacular to relax in during the evening with a glass of wine. We decided to order many lunches, BBQ’s and dinners and our chef cooked us absolutely delicious meals and we enjoyed their absolutely amazing hospitality again! Really, the food is just so good. One last point was about the staff and service. It was really first class, and we were thankful the villa was kept spotless, which we appreciated during the Covid crisis. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay. We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

Our group had an amazing time! This villa has breathtaking views and an unbelievable location right on the beach, the living room and bedrooms are very spacious. The outside area has a beautiful pool area with lounges, chairs and sunbeds to sunbake or entertain ect which created a very memorable experience for us. The host supplied very helpful staff and a great cook. We ordered both lunch and dinner which were both very delicious.! We had a wonderful vacation in this very big and clean villa. Nice host. Friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Paradise!

Our family of 12 adults and four children spent a truly wonderful week here. Everything about the accommodation was luxurious, comfortable and beyond our expectations. All of the bedrooms were large and stylish with ensuite and most had views of the pool and the sea. The kitchen and living area was open plan with large sofas and a billiard table. The kitchen was very well equipped and our chefs made the most incredibly delicious meals. The horizon pool was magnificent and was just next to the beach. It had a great conversation pit just next to it which was great. The bbq was also well equipped and we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a lovely family party outside. The villa is located in southern Phuket away from the busy towns, but still has shops and restaurants nearby. It is right on the beach, which is very quiet and uncrowded. The swimming and canoeing here is blissful. I cannot praise Jay and his staff highly enough. They are all very friendly and keep the villa looking beautiful and well fed even with our large family group. Wonderful outings were arranged for us on request and we all felt thoroughly pampered.

We understand for very special occasions such as weddings, special parties and corporate events a team of chefs may be required to create delicious cuisine and foods throughout the day. This will obvuoulsy be inconvient to prepare in the main villa, so we have built an entirely seperate professional kitchen solely for the use of professional chefs to ensure these events are catered for professionally, to the highest standards, and without any disturbance to the guests in the villa.

All bathrooms are bright, modern, spacious, and feature both a rail plus an over rain shower. Room 3 also features a large double-ended bath tub within the bedroom. Luxury toiletries and soft cotton luxury bath and hand towels in all bathrooms.

The standard number of guests for Villa Baan Amandhara is 12. If required, it is possible to increase the number of guests by setting up extra beds within the existing rooms. The maximum capacity of this villa is 18 guests.

One of Phuket's most beautiful retreats, located directly on the beach. Ao Yon beach is one of Phuket's most beautiful beaches, palm-fringed, with white-sand and clear blue seas. It is also a natural picturesque and sheltered bay, and is therefore one select few beaches on Phuket that offer you all-year protection and 365 days a year swimming. Phuket's west coast beaches are closed for most of the period from May thru Nov, plus closed on any days with strong tides. This is especially important for families with children, our adults that like to swim...

Beach Advice: There are only a handful of select resorts in Phuket that offer a truly private beach experience. The majority of beaches, even those in many 5* resorts, are easily accessible by droves of beach ‘touts', hordes of tourists and public water craft. The beautiful beach in front of Baan Amandeha is protected by private roads which means you won't be fighting for space with hundred's of other holiday-makers, you won't have jet ski's zooming past all day and you won't be bothered by beach ‘touts' trying to sell you their wares. It is luxurious, very beautiful and has high quality beach restaurants, massage boutique, a water sports and sailing operator plus a few luxury private properties.

Please note also, that Phuket's west coast beaches are closed for 6 months each year due to their strong riptides. Ao Yon Bay's lovely beach offers safe swimming, 365-days a year.
